Give a Helping Hand to 2012!

Happy New Year!!!

To start the New Year in style why not cleanse those hangover legacies and 'returning to work' blues by investing in some decent charitable merchandise for your new January wardrobe.

The advertising house that is Mother, has come up with a nifty idea to sell a limited amount of T-shirts with predictive, psychic slogans that remain unbeknowst to the purchasers until delivery. For £100 you can get your paws on one of these tees of the future, being comforted by the fact that 100% of the revenue goes to Age UK, despite any fortune told! Make the rising fuel prices and fixed pension incomes bearable for someone today.

Broken Social Scene Tee Above
As I love Canadian indie bands and their origins, I could not help but blog about the Montreal based, non-profitable charitable scheme that is The Yellow Bird Project. Catching various musicians they ask them to design a T-shirt for a charity of their choice with the likes of Broken Social Scene, Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah, and Bon Iver having graced this tradition in the past.
